The calculations are for a 100 m2 family home with a required heating output of 16 kW.
The prices of electricity and natural gas are as of September 1, 2019. with incl. VAT.
ECONOMIC SUSTAINABILITY-HEAT PUMP HEATING MODE
A heat pump conversion factor of 3.5 means that it generates 3.5 kW of heat at the expense of 1 kW of electricity consumed. Therefore, the efficiency of the heat pump is several times higher than the efficiency of a gas or pellet boiler. That is, over a certain range, it is more cost effective and combined in a hybrid pellet / gas boiler system, reducing the costs of heating and heating domestic hot water at times.

Коефициент на преобразуване на термопомпата 3.5, означава, че тя произвежда 3.5 kW топлинна енергия, за сметка на консумирана 1 kW електрическа мощност. Следователно ефективността на термопомпата е в пъти по – висока от ефективността на един газов или пелетен котел. Т.е в определен диапазон тя е по – икономически ефективна и съчетана в хибридна система с пелетен/газов котел, в пъти се намаляват разходите за отопление и подгряване на битова гореща вода.
